Why I Created The Gathering
More than twenty years ago, I said yes to God's call on my life.
Like many women, I stepped into ministry full of faith, but I quickly discovered that saying yes to God and knowing how to walk it out are not the same.
There were seasons where I felt alone.
Seasons where I longed for wise counsel, genuine encouragement, spiritual covering, and women who would pray with me, sharpen me, and remind me of what God had spoken.
Much of what I learned came through experience, perseverance, and God's faithfulness.
Looking back, I realised something.
The woman I needed when I first began is the woman God has called me to become.
That is why I created THE GATHERING.
My prayer is that no woman who has said yes to God has to walk her journey alone.
Whether God has called you into ministry, business, leadership, or to faithfully serve where you are, I want THE GATHERING to be a place where women across the UK and around the world are equipped, encouraged, strengthened, and surrounded by genuine sisterhood as they continue becoming all God has called them to be.
This is more than a community.
It is a home for women who are committed to growing with God—and growing together.
